LAUGHTER THERAPY: THE POWER OF HUMOR AND LAUGHTER.
For people who want to learn how to enjoy life by means of laughter and also experience it’s benefits.
“Eat half as much, chew twice as much, walk three times as much, and laugh four times as much.” (A 103-year-old man on the secret of his longevity.)
“It’s never too late to have a happy childhood.” (Scandinavian proverb.)
It’s a good idea to give yourself the opportunity in life to practice laughter, to get back your childlike spontaneity and flexibility of mind and body in order to laugh easily and thus experience all the benefits of hearty belly laughter: an extraordinary sense of well-being in mind and body. Laughing together with others dissipates tensions and reveals a new side to our personality, in being able to relate to ourselves, worries, and feelings, from another perspective, and experience how laughter creates bonding and closer relationships with others.
In these sessions we work with the body using exercises to facilitate unprompted, spontaneous laughter techniques that can be drawn upon as needed (feeling low, crises, problems, stress, etc.)
