For those who suffer stress or are passing through a period of extreme tension.
BASIC COURSE CONTENTS
Laughter and stress, from a physiological point of view are opposites. Whereas laughter relaxes muscles, facilitates blood circulation, and favors proper digestion by causing the body to secrete hormones which counteract the stress related hormones, stress has the opposite effect. Laughter provides us with better health. The development of the ability to laugh through adequate exercises together with relaxation techniques brings on a greater sense of physical, mental and emotional well-being. It is possible to learn to laugh even when the situation seems utterly “unlaughable”. To be able to laugh with fellow workers makes the workplace more agreeable, provides for cohesive teamwork, and makes the control of stress more effective.
